Liddell Power Station 330/33kV Substation

Liddell Power Station - 330/33 kV Substation

PBE Rutherford were awarded a contract for the construction of a new 330/33 kV Substation for the closure and transition of the Liddell Power Station in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia to make way for a renewables hub. The substation is required to maintain a 33 kV supply to nearby coal mines and the neighbouring Baywater Power Station once Liddell is decommissioned. Existing 33 kV overhead feeders will be relocated underground to clear the area for the new substation. The substation will connect directly to Transgrid's 330 kV transmission network.
